Now just so you know, I have not read the books so I went into this not knowing anything about it. I must say, it was a mess. I looked into the books after watching the movie and it seems to have nothing to do really books. I had no idea what was going on for most of the movie. I can see why they just dumped it on Disney+.

The trailer presented Artemis as some sort of heroic kid, which flied in the face of the first book where he was a flat out arrogant criminal. That was already a massive red flag, so yeah, not surprised to be hearing the movid’s not good.</p>
