You know… the only reason I got YouTube Red all that time ago was because of Cobra Kai… now it’s coming to Netflix… and the only reason why I’m keeping Premium now is because of my downloads… that said I’ve had Netflix since for many years now so I’m not missing out. What do fellow Karate Kid/Cobra Kai fans feel about the move to Netflix?

I haven’t watched Cobra Kai because I refuse to pay for YouTube Red. Now that it’s going to Netflix, I may very well watch it.

It’s a good show for Karate Kid fans, but even if you haven’t seen the movies, they do flashback/explain events so that they are not lost in the story. I recommend it.

Yikes, its gonna get woke for sure now. Okay, maybe not, but still, its netflix. It has been already walking on that line in season 2, but now it can go all out.

Welp, it was fun while it lasted. I dumped Netflix awhile back. Not paying just to see Cobra Kai. Oh well.

I watched the first season on YouTube for free and pirated half of the second season, because I didn’t want to pay for YouTube Red. I loved the show. Since I do have Netflix, I’m happy it’s moving there so I can enjoy it legally.

Cobra Kai is flat out awesome. Loved both seasons so far. I think the movie to Netflix will only make the show better.

Karate Kid has a special place in my heart. My dad still to this day (I am 46 next week) still puts “-san” after my name when talking to me.

It was well done, that is how you do a sequel to a franchise, just like they did the Rocky movies with Creed! And coming in Netflix, dude that will be a HUGE impact on it, in regards to exposure and i am glad it is off youtube.

Hopefully they’ll get a bigger budget and can finally bring Mr Miyagi back with some of that cgi.

    Premium

I really don’t watch Netflix. This will give me a reason too. I only got Red for Cobra Kai, everything else is crap. Crappy Logan Paul movies and other junk. I’m happy to keep premium for the sake of no ads.

I never thought youtube premium was worth the money just to watch it. Now that it is coming to Netflix I will give it a watch but as other people have mentioned I am worried it will go woke on netflix

Show was excellent…now with Netflix’s mandatory virtue signaling checklist for all of it’s shows, the wokeness is going to go through the roof…just sad…

      Premium

Season 2 did have some woke moments, but it was never shoved down your throat. Season 3 has already been done so I’m not really worried. Yes Netflix is very woke, but that doesn’t mean that Cobra Kai will go full on woke.

That’s exactly what’s going to happen. They sold their soul, and creative freedom, to the devil.

Like you pointed out, there were already woke moments in season 2. It would be surprising if the woke moments didn’t expand in season 3, even without Netflix’s involvement. I’d bet dollars to donuts that season 4 will be a woke-fest.
