Summer 2020 Anime Season (Possible Spoilers)

We are a couple of weeks away from the start of the 2020 season. I like to go here to check out what’s up and coming:

I tend to like to wait four weeks before I start watching shows for a new season, as I am a believer in the 4 episode test. If something doesn’t grab me by episode 4, then it’s not for me. Generally if it’s Fantasy, Sci-fi, or Supernatural I will watch it. I’ll toss in some Comedy here or there and there are always a couple outliers for one reason or another. Here’s what I’m going to be checking out this season:

Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha : This will probably be average to crummy, but I’ll probably find some fun in it.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 1 : Really looking forward to this after last season’s cliff hanger. Where’s Rem????!!!!

Deca-Dence: looks interesting

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru : a guilty pleasure. During a massive anime binge a few years ago while I was recovering from illness and injury, I watched the first two seasons…I need tosee what happens.

Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld Part 2 : Big SAO fan, but going to wait all 12 weeks, because I haven’t even watched part 1. Must watch all 24 episodes straight.

Shokugeki no Souma: Gou no Sara : I just love this series. Doesn’t even have anything to do with the fact I used to be a chef. It’s just so much damn fun.

Fruits Basket 2nd Season : guilty pleasure. This series warms my cold, cynical heart.
