Just finished the first episode. Just from the first scene I can tell the SJWs will be triggered. But it’s got Monster Musume vibes. The monster girls are the same. In both series the main girl is a Lamia, we have the noble warrior centaur girl, we have the mermaid girl, we have a harpie and we have an Aracnid girl. While they are both very different they are also similar in ways as well.
Oh who cares what Socialist Jackoff Whiners think of this show or anything at all.
Yes I was hooked in from that first scene, but I have a “Sanji-like” approach when it comes to anime ladies.
I don’t care what they think either, it’s just funny to think of them getting triggered and unable to do a thing about it. Anyway, I highly doubt they would watch it, because let’s be real here, they don’t actually watch anime. If they do it’s watered down “safe” anime. They claim they’re anime fans because it’s cool to do so, but in reality, it’s because they want it to fit their standards. Look what they did to the comic industry.
This anime is basically a FU to them, and I applaud that. Keep it up Japan.
I saw the first episode as well, but I don’t think it will pass the “4 episode test”: It feels a lot like watered down Monster Musume.
That’s what I was saying in my first post. It’s like Monster Musume, especially the monster girls. The heroin is a Lamia girl, just like in MM, the second monster girl he meets is a centaur, just like MM. It also has risky (but as you said watered down) scenes like MM. I actually liked the first episode, but there hasn’t been a second episode yet.
“What better way to get back into light novels than with a monster girl series that’s been endorsed by OKAYADO himself!“
