This is old news, but I thought I’d bring it up because I think it’s still interesting. In 2008, LucasArts released their ultimate archive collection “Rogue Leaders: The Story Of LucasArts” (out of print now, and likely selling for high prices on e-Bay). It’s a collection of everything the company had worked on since their founding (concept art, etc). But there’s something which really sticks out for most Star Wars fans: Games that LucasArts that they were tossing around as potential ideas but never came to fruition.

Pretty fascinating what we might’ve gotten, assuming LucasArts got their shit together and the Disney buyout never happened. Especially when you see that they were apparently considering doing their own Episode VII video game. However that turned out, I’d think it would’ve been way better than the Farce Engorges Force Awakens (I’d speculate it’d be set in the old EU, after the Fate of the Jedi series, with Ben Skywalker as the main character. But that’s just me). Of course, there’s no guarantee these games would’ve been greenlit, but part of me can’t help but pine for an alternate timeline. Oh, well.
Also, they should’ve released “Jedi Rebel” and “Rebel Jedi” at the same time, just to screw with everyone.
“Why did you release two different games but with the title switched around…?”
“Because we can.”
