Does anyone remember the show dark angel with jessica alba? im watching them again on dvd and going to make reviews of them soon. Its a great show jessica plays a genetically engineered soldier who escapes with other soldiers from the govt compound there held at. This is the trailer for it what sucks is its not on netflix or amazon or anything im not sure why but you can get the dvds cheap

Yes, I remember it. I paid little attention when it was first on but then got lent it on video and DVD. Overall I thought it was good and was sorry only two series were made although I now know that the background could have used more work. An EMP crashing the entire economy doesn’t really make sense but it’s trivial compared to the general strength of the story.

yep i remember it too, indeed some inconsistencies in the scenario but quite a decent show, it was a shame it didn’t last more than 2 seasons ‘cos there was potential, although we’ve been lucky to have had a second season for ‘closure’ (it was only half season iirc, which made it a bit messy but…)

i haven’t watched it again since it went on air, could be fun to though, besides it’s funny to notice that a few things depicted in this dystopian future kinda happened nowadays (if i recall the show correctly)

Yeah, I watched both seasons of the show way back. I can’t remember if it had a proper ending though or left the story on a cliffhanger!

The main two things I remember from the show(aside from the obvious being Jessica Alba & the title of the show) is I remember enjoying what little I watched of it & that dude who looked like a dog, I think his name was Joshua. Wasn’t it a show on Fox?

iirc, people working on the show knew since the end of season 1 (which ended on a cliffhanger) that it wasn’t going to be renewed

it was thanks to the fans that they managed to get a (short) season2 to allow them to have some kind of ending to the show but they couldn’t make a very good one given the circumstances and it was not the one they had in mind originally
still it’s always better than no ending at all (like carnivale, or many others which couldn’t have one)
