Thought I’d start a discussion thread for anyone who would like to pop a quick comment about whatever it is they’re watching right now. I’ve recently just started watching “Cells at Work!” Only a couple of episodes in, but I already have good first impressions: It’s a cute, fun show with top-notch artwork (it’s by David Production, who made JoJo) that’s actually fairly accurate about biology. I really like the dynamic between Red and White, too. They fulfill the feminine and masculine archetypes perfectly in a “Hero and Heroine” story and complement one another very well.
JFC, think I may have gotten diabetes watching that.

I just watched the first full season of The Seven Deadly Sins and I loved it so much I went and bought the Manga (along with the first volume of Fullmetal Alchemist). Also slowly getting into Parasyte and Tokyo Ghoul on Hulu.

I like it a lot. It had interesting story and very good action.
next I will finish the midnight Gospel. it’s more of a cartoon that anime but still, i’m liking that to. Its really tripy.

July 29, 2020 at 9:09 am #181041I haven’t consistently watched any anime in over a decade, but late last year I got into Arifuerta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest. My bestie recommended it to me when I was going through some rough stuff, and I immediately latched onto Nagumo who was a character that went from getting completely broken down and left for dead to boss-level status. The first season was short, but I’m looking forward to the next one as well as checking out the manga which I hear is actually better.
