I’ve finished Control, now that it’s officially available everywhere. And boy I’m glad I waited. This game is not GOTY material, it isn’t even worth $60.
It falls flat very quickly, the story is uninteresting, the gameplay repetitive. The characters cardboard cutouts. Even the ones that are set up to be something are later forgotten completely. The player character a Mary Sue. It’s underwhelming to say the least. Now it’s not all bad but to me it’s a mere 6/10.
