Is Harry Potter A Gary Stu?
Oh most definately.
Sidenote, have a great evening by putting in one of the movies and drink every time Harry, Potter, or Harry Potter is said.
Gary Stu. A male version of a Mary Sue. seemingly perfect character with no flaws, or who always overpowers other characters.
Harry Potter has LOTS a flaws, who tends to have horseshoes up the ying-yang.
He also has a learning curve, and progresses as a character (be at as it is).
So no, I don’t consider Potter a Gary Stu.
Harry Potter is definitely not a Gary Stu. He has the chosen one main character plot armor, but is actually quite incompetent when it comes to battling, which is realistic. And he was lucky to have great people supporting and teaching him.
