Really enjoying korean cinema now

With the degraded products Hollywood is releasing, I’m finding the best jewels in Korean films. The witch is hands down my favorite action superhero. And yes there’s an overpowered superwoman in the main role who kicks her Kylo’s ass. But it is done the right way.
Train to Busan is also really amazing and I don’t go for zombie movies.
I’ve even found their kdramas to be entertaining if I want a short break. But yeah they’re soap operas basically.
I’ve also seen the old boy revenge trilogy and loved it. Funny enough I thought parasite was good but not great.
any other suggestions

Cool! I’ve watched more dramas than movies up to now
For movies i really liked Parasite. I’m also into superhero movies, so i think i’ll give The Witch a watch 😸
What kind of k-dramas are you into? One of my favorites is Revenge Note. Also, if you’re into korean superwomen, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’s a fun k-drama, the lead’s like a miniature Hulk

as for dramas, I’ll say it may be an acquired taste especially as a guy, but I loved weightlifting fairy, fight my way, and w two worlds. Again not saying it’s the best but they have good looking actors and actresses and a lot of fun. Spoiler they also have fairly happy endings if you’re feeling blue. I’ll check out revenge note and see how it goes.

Btw. Started watching w YouTube and wasn’t too crazy about revenge note, but then I realized it was just truncated clips… watching w my app now. They
gave the main actress a bad hairstyle and she’s a little too passive, but much better.
