I think it’s safe to say that the recent trend of mini consoles have been a success.  Which one do you think will be next?  N64?  Saturn?  Dreamcast?  Maybe even a Game Boy?

Maybe a PS2. Whatever it is I just hope they put better games on. I mean the SNES didn’t have Home Alone or Lion King. I don’t believe the PS even had Crash.

The PS Classic was a disaster outside of those that bought it to mod, that along with the fact Sony has acted like if you wanna play older games…you’re nuts, I highly doubt a PS2 Classic would ever be a thing. Especially when they can just sell ports for $8-15 on the PS store.

I think a Nintendo 64 Classic Edition would be pretty cool. It could have some of the classic N64 games like Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart 64, Perfect Dark, and GoldenEye 007, as well as not so popular but still great games such as Jet Force Gemini, Mischief Makers, and Wave Race 64.

Also, rather than a PS2 Classic that would be a follow-up to the PlayStation Classic, I think a better alternative would be a follow-up mini console to the Genesis/Mega Drive Mini, which would most likely be a Saturn Mini. Since the Saturn was made by Sega back in the 90s, I think that the Saturn Mini would have more iconic games that more people would be interested in playing today, especially smash-hits released for the Saturn and developed by Sega such as Daytona USA, Sega Rally Championship, Panzer Dragoon, Virtua Fighter, The House of the Dead games, and Sonic R.

Next, I’m hoping for a Sega Saturn Mini. It had a large game library, but it was never as popular as the Genesis or PlayStation. A tiny console would be an excellent way to play some of those classic games.

I have a lot of retro consoles in my collection, I’ve been collecting for about 5 years now. But you know what I’ve never had? A new console that’s made to look like an old one. I recently found something like this and I want to try it out,  I’m waiting for Pandora’s Box Arcade. It should perfectly blend retro design and modern features. I am so excited about this acquisition! I can’t wait to dive into the gaming atmosphere of the old days with modern improvements. I hope it will bring unforgettable emotions and fun to play!

I really wish there was a sequel to the Nintendo 64, as it holds a special place in my heart with its iconic games and cherished memories. However, it’s tough to ignore the fact that the gaming world has evolved immensely, and we now have amazing options like https://www.gamestalgia.net/ that offer a vast library of classic titles. While a new console would be exciting, it might not offer the same nostalgia and charm as the original. With platforms like Gamestalgia, I can relive those timeless experiences and introduce them to new generations. So, while I’d love to see a Nintendo 64 sequel, I can’t deny the convenience and value that platforms like Gamestalgia bring to the table. Let’s continue celebrating the past and embracing the future of gaming!
