Katey Sagal Recovering After Being Hit By a Car in LA

Peg Bundy got snatched up by the driver for “NO MA’AM” yesterday. Katey Sagal is in the hospital after getting hit by a car while crossing the street in Los Angeles on Thursday morning. The New York Post’s Page Six reports that the altercation happened at 11:40 A.M. local time when the driver of a Tesla was making a left turn but didn’t see Sagal crossing the street. The 67-year-old Sons of Anarchy star is expected to make a full recovery, as she was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.

A TMZ insider reported that she is “going to be OK” and will be released sometime very soon. Tesla man did stop to help the Conners star, if that is any consequence, as she was transported via ambulance to a local hospital. The driver was not cited or charged for the event, but the incident does remain under investigation.

She parlayed that success into the 2000s with hits such as Cate Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules and adjusted her presentation to play Gemma Teller in Sons of Anarchy. She is also an incredibly successful voice actress, voicing Flo Spinelli on Recess and, famously, Leela in Futurama. Considering she was once told that she would never work in television, Sagal has carved out a pretty successful niche for herself.
