A three-time NFL Most Valuable Player finally got a taste of the dark side of the media when he was forced to profess to the world that he is unvaccinated against COVID-19. Aaron Rodgers claims that he is allergic to a component in the vaccine, and frankly, it’s no one’s business if he is or not.
“I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now,” said Rodgers on The Pat McAfee Show to former NFLers Pat McAfee and his former teammate A.J. Hawk on Friday. “So, before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself.”
“I’m not an anti-vax, flat-earther. I have an allergy to an ingredient that’s in the mRNA vaccines. I found a long-term immunization protocol to protect myself, and I’m very proud of the research that went into that.”
Rodgers declined the Johnson & Johnson vaccine that does not use mRNA technology due to potential side effects.
The former media darling went on to drag the NFL’s strict vaccine rules as “not based in science at all.” Rodgers went on to illustrate his opinion further. “They’re purely trying to out and shame people, like needing to wear a mask at a podium when every person in the room is vaccinated and wearing a mask makes no sense to me. If you got vaccinated to protect yourself from a virus I don’t have as an unvaccinated individual, then why are you worried about anything I could give you?” This is an honest critique of the common vaccine advocate’s position.
Detailing the alternative treatment methods he had taken for himself, he mentioned that he had consulted with Joe Rogan about different treatments.
Rodgers mentioned how he had stuck to the rules of the NFL and “followed every single protocol to a T – minus the one I just mentioned because it actually makes no sense to me. My daily routine is the routine of an unvaccinated person.” So, living a regular life, just in a nicer house.
During the McAfee interview, he confirmed what had been reported earlier in the week, that he has tested positive for the coof, saying his symptoms are mild and he “feels really good.” Detractors began trashing his fiancée, Shailene Woodley, because she indulges in the “homeopathic treatment” side of medicine; therefore, she is evil and subject to Twitter drama.
Normally the darling of sports and mainstream media, Aaron Rodgers just outed himself as being on the opposite side of one of the legacy media’s golden issues. Time will tell if he is forgiven or if this is his based coming out party.
