Admit that I am not that familiar with the character, but what is fortunate is that she was drawn and adopted by the legendary John Byrne. The issues I really loved were when she was with the Fantastic Four.

Here she is by Arthur Adams in Longshot which brings to mind a suggestion for further seasons of the MCU. Longshot and the Mojoverse would be excellent because supposedly Mojo was a parody of Weinstein and Mojo said that Mutants are good for ratings, so he would do anything for ratings. Good libertarian minded writers could have a field day with that topic.

I’m sort of familiar with the character. Weren’t they going to do a film with her in back in the early ’90’s and they had actual onset photos of the character and everything? I’m sure that I remember hearing somewhere that it got cancelled halfway through filming and was never released due to film rights or something.

She-Hulk was created by Stan Lee, who wrote only the first issue, and was the last character he created for Marvel Comics until his return to comics with Ravage 2099 in 1992. The reason behind the character’s creation had to do with the success of The Incredible Hulk (1977–1982) and The Bionic Woman television series. Marvel was afraid that the show’s executives might suddenly introduce a female version of the Hulk, as producer Kenneth Johnson had already done with The Six Million Dollar Man. So Marvel decided to publish their own version of such a character to make sure that if a similar one showed up in the television series, Marvel would own the rights.

Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the small and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine (née Banner) Walters (who died in a car crash when Jennifer was 17). Operatives of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss who had crossed paths with her father, shot and seriously wounded her on the day that Banner visited her to tell her about his transformation into the Hulk. Since no other donors with her blood type were available, Banner provided his own blood for a transfusion; as they already shared the same blood type and DNA, his gamma-irradiated blood, combined with her anger, transformed Jennifer into the green-skinned She-Hulk when the mobsters tried to finish her off at the hospital.

As She-Hulk, Jennifer possessed powers similar to those of her cousin, though at a reduced level. She also possessed a less monstrous, more Amazonian appearance. Initially, the transformation to her She-Hulk form was triggered (as with Bruce Banner’s) by anger. Like her cousin Bruce, his counterpart, the Leader, Doc Samson and most other persons mutated by exposure to gamma radiation over the years, her mutated form was originally explained as being molded by her subconscious desire to look like the ideal woman.

A transfusion of gamma-irradiated blood from her cousin Bruce Banner (the Hulk) granted Jennifer Walters superhuman powers. In her She-Hulk form, she possesses enormous superhuman strength, that potentially makes her the physically strongest known woman in the Marvel Universe when her emotional state is sufficiently high

The Sensational She-Hulk ran until issue #60 (February 1994), making it the longest-running solo title of any Marvel superheroine up to that point.

“I do not own this video, This is a Fan made Concept trailer, All Credit goes to Marvel.”

So, is this a thing or not? Would be funny because I get trolled and fooled all the time. I like how the channel says Morvel instead of Marvel. Ok, I’ll try to post less now.

I don’t have those issues but I do remember watching an episode of the 2006 Fantastic 4 cartoon in which she briefly joined the team :D I have a couple of 90s She-Hulk comics though

There you go. I never even ran across her issues at the local shop. Flipped through some today and they are good. The problem is, I miss the original inks. A lot of the issues you get are remastered and they do not look nearly as good. There is one where she is posing in a black outfit and I guess they used fitness model Cory Everson as the outline, which is awesome. Something they could do is give various fitness girls a chance to double as the She-Hulk Character during action sequences.

@comicsgate, yes the originals always look better, I was lucky enough to find original 90s She-Hulk comics second hand, other originals comics from the 70s to the 90s I have some Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, Fantastic 4, A couple of Avengers issues, and one issue of Doctor Strange, I also have some remastered ones of issues which the originals would probably be way out of my budget, mostly reprints of first issues/appearances, like Fantastic 4 n. 1, X-Men n. 1, Amazing Fantasy (Spidey’s first appearance), Infinity Gauntlet n. 1, the reprints I got of these are actually really good quality as they’re printed on old style paper, then I also have the Hulk issue with Wolverine’s first appearance, but this one’s printed on new type glossy paper

As someone who still has the original run of Sensational  She-Hulk comics, all 50 of them, I was sort of anticipating this. But, I am sure it will be woke somehow like all the Marvel TV shows have been so far. They have already ruined Hawkeye in three episodes.

You’ll like her when she’s angry.

Meet Jennifer Walters, attorney at law…who also just happens to be She-Hulk, too.

During The Walt Disney Company’s 2022 Upfront presentation today, executive producer Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios and chief creative officer of Marvel, welcomed star Tatiana Maslany to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the pair shared details about the upcoming series — including the August 17 launch date exclusively on Disney+!

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Directed by Kat Coiro (Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9) and Anu Valia (Episodes 5, 6, 7) with Jessica Gao as head writer, the series is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro, and Jessica Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.

It looks like her CGI model was designed sometime during Endgame‘s production before they had an actress cast, making Maslany’s face stand out on a body and head that doesn’t fit her at all.  She also has the sickly yellow-green hue with pink remaining around the mouth just like in Endgame in some shots, while appearing almost a cyan in some others.

I’ll consider this one on its lead actress alone, but I’ve heard production has been an absolute disaster behind the scenes.

          A parody.

          SNL sketch material.

Like all of Marvel, it looks incredibly cheap and dumb, with the usual subpar writing that feels like a first draft, but at least the comedic timing was decent, had some setups and it wasn’t about *the message*. All options considered, a comedy is sort of the best thing you can do with the character. Making it a dramatic / tragic origin story or the usual superhero bs doesn’t really work with a green superhero lawyer. She’s not dumb like male hulk, doesn’t lose control, and without that duality… what else is one going to do? I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the trailer got a few chuckles out of me. This may be the best thing to come out of Marvel since Infinity War.

As usual with Marvel, much of the CGI looks really bad. A lot of it looks like free adobe after effects plugins, with cheap digital screen shake and motion blur and terrible matting of the cgi characters. Shocking, but Disney knows they can get away with it, because their fanbase is mostly dumb and uncritical.

“Disney knows they can get away with it, because their fanbase is mostly dumb and uncritical.”

That seems uncalled for.  No reason to paint with such a broad brush.  Most sci-fi fans are willing to suspend disbelief because that is what the genre requires and I think that assists people in getting past things like lazy CGI and whatnot.

I am sure the movie will be hot garbage and I really am starting to think they make these more for the Chinese audience then the American one because that market is much larger.  That and I am not sure that market suffers from the same over saturation of these movies the American one does so it’s currently more fertile ground.
