My friend, Kristian Kahrs, is a Norwegian international journalist based in Serbia. He discusses his perspective on the British High Court’s decision to extradite Julian Assange to the United States. He also relates a similar case that potentially implicates him in his home country.
Many regard Julian Assange as an international media and free speech hero. Others see him as a criminal. It remains to be seen what impact Assange’s extradition will have. Is there a chance a trial will reveal secrets and expose world leaders and celebrities, or will Julian Assange face a kangaroo court and made to be a public example of?
It has been regularly reported Julian Assange had been mistreated while in extended custody. Abuse like that should not be tolerated. But does extradition pose a threat to Assange’s life? Time will tell.
Please watch Kristian’s video, leave comments, and share with others because Julian Assange’s case will have significant international repercussions on the limitations or preservation of free speech.
Kristian Kahrs has been a guest on The Duran program, hosted by Alex Christoforou and Alexander Mercouris. Another notable guest regularly includes attorney Robert Barnes.

It will be a kangaroo court… both in the States and elsewhere.
