With conventions and comicon returning, who all can’t wait?
I ask this because recently I saw an image that had many comments on, and had to look it up.
I could not determine if this was originally taken to sell the wig/costume or if it was a cosplayer.
I could easily see this person CAST in a real live adaption of this character. The pose and facial expressions so match the original artwork, I (being not familiar with it) would have to ask what came first? The cosplayer or the drawn image?
While not into CosPlay, myself I have always admired it from afar because some of it takes a lot of work and effort. Honestly, this only appears to be a halfhearted attempt in my book. It’s ok but by no means great as I see it.
Character is Asuka Langley from Evangelion
Like @Vknid said, the costume itself isn’t great. But her expression perfectly embodies Asuka’s personality 👍
Hard to say which came first cosplay or drawing since that’s fanart
And YES!! I’m 100% ready to cosplay 🥳
Can you guess which character i’ll be cosplaying as?
I have always admired CosPlay because of it’s zeal for a character and the time put in on costume and makeup. It’s not my thing, but I have always found it exciting and cool.
Good evening.
Personally I’m not really into cosplay but I can respect it as an art and craft. I remember seeing some pretty amazing Bleach cosplays back in the day and I think it’s pretty cool that people would spend so much time and effort into making an authentic-looking costume.
A couple of girls told me a while back I’d look great if I cosplayed myself; I dunno, I think I’d die of embarrassment.
Cosplaying, along with going to a convention, is on my list of things to do in my life. I’d probably cosplay as someone from MHA, JoJo, or a video game like Final Fantasy VII or Xenoblade. These are a few characters I think I’d do a good cosplay of:
