All i gotta say about this trailer is… what the hell is going on??
Seriously, i didn’t understand one thing about it, there’s not even a glimps of what the plot will be about
They race swapped Namor
Iron Heart, looks like she’s got a job or internship working for Shuri? I guess that’s not too far fetched
But the biggest WTF question is… why are there fucking Avatar people in the movie??
The only complaint I’ve got with this is that they shouldn’t have done a sequel after Chadwick had died because knowing current day Disney they’d be milking poor Black Panther. And I’m right. Especially since they’re using his death to promote the trailer.
Zero interest. I hated the first movie. Never watched it again and never want to. Pretty much all of the Disney Marvel movies I have NO interest in anymore. Ever since Endgame, it’s garbage.
The Sony Marvel, yes, some of those are good. Spider Man NWH was good.
Not for me. The first one had it’s moments. At least it’s an epic film attempt. I give Marvel credit for it, but I won’t be seeing it because the last few films were not good. Thor and Dr. Strange turned me off of the whole thing. It’s becoming too much like the comics. Too woke. It’s an interesting paradox that the more Disney panders to the woke, the less audience and money they make? Not sure, but it seems like it. Oh, and by the way, I passed on Thor and Strange, too, when I heard about it. Terrible films.
On an unrelated note, they are really looking for females to replace all these characters. It’s not just Iron Heart, but I saw a comic called “Iron Cat”, where Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat from Spider-Man, steals one of Tony’s suits. I’ll admit I liked the basic premise, but did not read it. I do like the writing though. Good twists.
Here is a black perspective from Tariq Nasheed. You would think they would be happy and grateful. Marvel did give them a black epic film. Another paradox of this whole thing is that the more “inclusive” they get, the more you realize these movies and projects are NOT for you. Usually, some snob will say something like “I’m sure you’ll understand the difference.” How much of a sucker do they take you fans for?
“the ‘gentrification’ of Wakanda”
I’m female and I don’t like what they’re doing. Yes I’d like to see more female superhero films and characters on the screen but not like this. I don’t want to see male heroes that I like get treated like idiots just to make said female character look good (looking at you ‘Thor Love and Thunder’). Even on ‘Batman Vs Superman’ you never had Wonder Woman making Batman and Superman look like idiots during the fight with Doomsday towards the end of the film. She stood along side them as their equal.
Also, I laughed like a idiot when I saw what they did to poor Namor on the trailer.
Oh look! Namor has a quick dry!
Just coming out of the ocean and not one wet hair!
No water on his equipment, back, etc.
FAKE as HELL!
I doubt the actor even was in the water. The CGI since phase 3 ENDED has been pure garbage/rushed.

That could be ’cause CGI isn’t complete yet, that actually happens a lot in trailers, even Endgame trailer had a scene with Iron Man which in the movie he’d lost a lot of weight (CGI ’cause it’d be dumb to really make RDJ lose that weight for just a couple scenes) but we just see him looking normal in the trailer
But yeah the CGI quality in general for phase 4 is lacking in some places, i’ve mainly noticed it with smaller details rather than the big action scenes, like Doctor Strange’s third eye in Multiverse Of Madness and Jane’s helmet in Love And Thunder, don’t know if maybe Marvel is trying some new VFX studios for these smaller things to cut back on cost? I have a habit of skimming thru the credits while waiting for post-credit scenes and noticed some names i’ve never heard of before
@DragonLady I’d only like to see well written characters and good writing. I read about famous women in history all the time and none of them were slouches. All hard workers and humble. It makes sense that others would have access to Stark armor. After reading about Iron Cat, I can see they are going to do the team or corps thing with the armor and I like that direction. Reading about Tony Stark as an A.I., which is good writing. Due to Tony being an A.I., he never really dies.
The Namor thing made me laugh too. They are changing Atlantis to some Meso-American name. What made me laugh more though was Robert Meyer Burnett on John Campea’s show said he’s down for some Toltec and African battles. It made me think that are we really going to see a black vs. brown race war in a Marvel movie? Marvel Studios is renaming Atlantis to Talocan, inspired from Aztec mythology. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tl%C4%81l%C5%8Dc%C4%81n
After Aquaman and Jason Momoa, it does kind of fit that a water character like Namor would be a Pacific Islander, like a Hawaiian or Samoan or someone from Fiji. They are great surfers.
I don’t usually notice how bad CGI is in recent films unless it’s pointed out to me 😂 (such as what happened with the final battle on Endgame when Ironman and Spidy’s heads were basically floating in the air 😂). But even I noticed how bad the CGI looked on ‘Love and Thunder’ for Lady Thor and when I saw the She-Hulk trailer even I was thinking along the lines of “I’ve seen better PS2 graphics!”😂.
the 1st movie wasn’t that bad… it’s pretty watchable. This one is 100% to avoid… like most of all phase 4-100 movies lol. garbage. political divisive trash for people with no brains.
for example, no idea how people watched the whole new movie of doctor strange… i turned it off after 5 min.
Seriously, i didn’t understand one thing about it, there’s not even a glimps of what the plot will be about
They’re trying to hide it for now but it’s pretty obvious someone (most likely Dr Doom) is poking at the Atlantians to cause them to fight Wakanda in order to weaken the countries for easier access to vibranium. This was already hinted in Endgame.
They race swapped Namor
they race swapped Nick Fury too, who cares
But the biggest WTF question is… why are there fucking Avatar people in the movie?
It’s the people of Atlantis

Well they wanted to introduce Namor as a segway to the mutants and Black Panther is a popular character who strongly resonates with the black audience so why not make a new one? They used Chadwick’s death to address the issue in the trailer that the torch has been passed to the next BP, Shuri. I see no issue here. Like if Tom Holland would die or not renew his contract, they wouldn’t just stop making Spiderman movies because people demand Spidey movies. They would most likely take in Miles Morales or use Andrew Garfield’s version.
I think they spelled Wokeanda wrong….
I think they spelled Wokeanda wrong….
how exactly is it woke?
Watched Black Panther Wakanda Forever, and i can say, the trailers don’t do it justiced, very surprised by how well the movie turned out
And for fucks sake stop with the woke marketing, the movie was 99.9% not woke, the 0.1% woke thing being one cringy line from Iron Heart, ok, just roll your eyes and enjoy the rest of the non woke movie
Now some lite spoilers ahead
Speaking of Iron Heart, i was quite plesantly surprised, i was expecting them to make her an annoying conceited brat, but she comes off as more naive than anything else, i mean it’s pretty obvious she got triked into building the vibranium detector, all they had to do to get her to build it was taunt her “i bet you can’t make that” and she hands in a nice little school project ready to be passed on to the CIA
The only thing i would’ve added, decorate her dorm room and garage with some Iron Man posters and merch
Race swapped Namor… i don’t usually care about race swaps so long as the actors do a good job in the role, i was only initially annoyed ’cause usually, they be REEEEEing about race swapping to have more representation, but when you doing that in a movie with a 90% black cast (i know Namor actor is mexican and not black) you can’t deny how much that looks like virtue signalling
Anyways, at the end of the day, the important thing’s that Tenoch Huerta is a really good actor and did a great job in the role, also props to the costume and makup department for making him look as comic accurate as possible 👍
I know there were some complaints about the trailers using Chadwick’s death to promote the movie, but although it did look a lot like that, in the actual movie they treaded Chadwick and Black Panther with respect, honoring him, and incorporating the unfortunate real life events which took him away too soon into the story, those scenes were packed with so much real emotion, i can only imagine how heart renching it must’ve been for Letitia and the others to film them and relive the loss of a friend
And now i will spoil the post credit scene, ’cause it’s cute :3
…
We get a little Panther 😻 I hope Black Panther 3 is Shuri traning little T’Challa jr. and them going on a nice little adventure together
Was nearly shrieking with laughter towards the end of this vid🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!
