Geeks + Gamers › Forums › Entertainment › YouTube › Jimmy Dore on Tim Pool – a positive sign
I watched the Tim Cast with Jimmy Door. I found it very inspiring. Why? Because Dore is a stone cold liberal. He thinks very different things than I do politically. But on the things that matter most while we might have different solutions we agree on the problems.
I find this very important because if people on both sides can find common ground, see the same problems and work towards amicable solutions we can can actually make things better.
This also makes me realize there are not 2 sides. There are 3. Left, right and the authoritarian progressives larping as leftists who will do ANYTHING for power.
That’s a very inspiring and understanding view point and you’re right. We can agree with liberals when they have the right idea. The idea that a liberal can’t be sensible isn’t impossible not can it be ruled out that there are reasonable liberals because there are, however, regardless of how a liberal feels: if they vote blue in this current state and age: they will be voting for the wrong policies.
That being said, being completely open minded to listening to the left is important so we know what to expect from the opposing conversation and come to agreements as well. I could not be more impressed by the moderation you’ve displayed.
I have liberal friends who I disagree with regularly, but we are still friends. So I can see that logic as well. Being open minded isn’t bad when we use logic behind it.
My best friend on this Earth is a liberal. Maybe not super liberal but more liberal than me. We tend to agree on problems, often time agree on solutions and sometimes just agree to disagree.
Problems are not solved by seeing who can scream the loudest. They are solved by agreeing on problems and finding a common solution.
They (political elite) want the division and they depend on it to keep their power and they do this by telling us the lie that we are so divided there is no hope. That is far from the truth.
Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more. At the same token, you do have to acknowledge the screaming and ranting is predominantly from the leftists who invaded the Democratic party.
The politically elite are the ones galvanizing the left to attack the right side of the isle with gaslighting, buzzwords, and anecdotal evidence.
I have a liberal friend too, we agree and disagree on a lot, but we keep it civil. And we agree that the leftists (left extremists) are causing a lot of problems. Antifa fanatics are rioting and destroying lives and attacking cities, BLM is a fraudulent charity, and woke communities are causing a lot of grief for people who disagree with them.
Right now there’s a fundamentally flawed ideology entering the leftist social hierarchy and it’s called “woke.” However your friend feels, that’s what is taking over their narrative and still vote for people like Biden or Clinton. The best thing we as Americans can do is pay attention and know who we are voting for (Democrats Republican). I’m more referring to the extremists who have invaded the political sphere and are causing anarchy.
The absolute shame of it is that most people don’t realize they mostly agree on most things.
Female Comedian Attacked Over Dylan Mulvaney Jokes RESPONDS!
The Jimmy Dore Show
Comedian Chrissie Mayr recently went viral after she was heckled during a performance after making a joke about trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The resulting firestorm has surfaced questions in the culture about what limits should be placed on comedians, what qualifies as “transphobia” and the hypersensitive age we’re living in.
Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger talk to Mayr about this viral heckling moment and whether silencing opponents is the best way to win people over to your side.
For anyone that has not seen that clip it’s actually hilarious and in all honesty Mayr went easy on them. Had that been George Carlin. Eddie Murphy or Richard Pryor those ladies would still be in therapy.
True dat. I was looking at some of those old “Man of the Hour” comedy roasts with the greats like Redd Fox, Nipsey Russell, Milton Berle and of course the insult master Don Rickles. Ethnic groups, political classes and individuals…everyone was fair game. No one held back or got “offended”. They all took it in the spirit in which it was intended…good humorous fun.
Try that brand of humor on this snowflake generation and 99% of them will die from heart attacks.
With respect to the Chrissie situation the fact that the land whales took out their frustrations on her merchandise table just shows you how fragile these people are.
Jimmy Dore and Alex Jones on New Year’s Eve.
Sworn enemies talking. I listen to these guys. Don’t really care for the media at all.
Tim Pool is on the list as well.
I actually do not think Jones and Dore are sworn enemies at all. Sure, the media might want people to think that but both dudes are open minded. Yeah I am certain they disagree on much (not as much as you might think) but enemies? No.
I watched this today. Best TimCast ever. Listen to these men, all with different backgrounds and some stances and they explore many topics.
These guys are reporting the actual news. And beyond that they are changing culture in a positive way, tearing people away from the establishment like Morpheus plucking Neo from the Matrix.
