Watched it this evening. It was a fun movie.
I’m not very familiar with the games, but I did recognize a few Easter eggs, and I’d guess there were many more I didn’t get.
The story was ok, mostly typical for such a movie. The animation was very nice.
I enjoyed it, I’ll give it a recommend.
I went sailing and found it in a buried treasure chest, my kids were super excited and they loved it! I thought it was fun. Did it have any thing after credits that might lead to the Koopa kids? Maybe Wario? For some reason, the “theater” didn’t show the credits at the end.
There was a brief mid-credits scene, but I didn’t stay through all the credits.
I took my three nephews to this movie tonight. we Loved it. i found no issues with the movie at all. Peach has lived and trained her whole life in that world so it makes sense she is able to do so much. Donkey Kong and all the Kongs were able to do the same. Mario was able to do Parkour in his world, so he was able to learn pretty quickly. I recommend this movie highly
Glad to hear this movie turned out so fun. Looking forward to seeing it myself when it comes to streaming.
Nice to see it is fun. But, not really interested in seeing it in the theatre. My interest died when the Gamecube was done. I loved Nintendo once, but when the Wii came out, which I thought was utter gimmicky garbage, that died. Nothing has changed my mind much since. Some day I may get a Switch dirt cheap just to play the past few Zelda games and a new Metroid whenever that actually comes out. Maybe by then yet another console that is low rez and gimmicky will come out. But, that’s about all I care about with Nintendo. I have zero interest in mario kart or smash bros because I hate racing and social type games. I used to love Zelda games though, and Metroid.
I’ll watch the movie when it comes to streaming and probably enjoy it for what it is.
Breath of the Wild is one of the best games to come out in the last few years. All the Gensins impacts and clones are rips of Breath of the Wild. it was so great it spawned a dozen clones trying to copy the travel, the cooking the climbing. You can snag a switch lite for less than 100 bucks. When the movie comes out on streaming check it out for sure

I have not heard the explanations but I have seen a few folks (Tim Pool) call this movie woke. Funny how some see that and others don’t. At the end of the day if you enjoyed it I think that is all that matters.
I am a fan of the Mario Universe, I have to say that the movie itself was enjoyable and fun to watch. However, I was a bit disappointed with the poster. I collect posters of my favorite movies and this element is important to me. It seemed too simple and generic as if someone just used one of those free poster templates create here on websites for online image editing. I expected something more elaborate and creative, especially for a movie based on an iconic video game franchise. But overall, it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the movie.
I heard there will be a slight different between what the world got and what will be released in places like Japan.
I don’t know if this image reflects that (or if it is accurate), but it would sure get people’s attention if it is.
