Lizzo Denies Harassment Claims
Lizzo took to Instagram to defend herself from the lawsuit filed by her former backup dancers the other day. The singer is accused of sexual harassment, discrimination, and fostering a “hostile work environment.” Check out her statement here:
I still don’t want to come down too hard on either side, but it’s hard to imagine the dancers coming up with such a specific story to lie about. How would you even think of the things they accused her of? It’s disappointing to hear a story like this about such a positive figure, but we can’t disregard complaints because we like the person accused. I don’t even like Lizzo’s music; I had always just heard she was a nice person.
