Essentially, it’s a pool of slave labor in the USA for some companies to take advantage of while also keeping wages very low in many sectors.  We see immigration as broken.  The politicians see it working exactly as intended which is why they have talked about fixing it for decades but never have.

“Staggering figures reveal 1.2MILLION US-born workers lost their jobs last month – replaced by 688,000 foreign-born staff – as Joe Biden allows migrants to flood across the border”

I don’t understand how people do not realize that this situation not only does not help anyone, it actually harms and abuses the very people it claims to help.

I don’t understand how people do not realize that this situation not only does not help anyone, it actually harms and abuses the very people it claims to help.

One, because it feels good.  The claims “we are a sanctuary”… until the people arrive on your street.

Two, they don’t want the job of cooking, cleaning, menial or hard working (ie. working in the field, picking, etc).

Three, they hate the US and want to change its demographics/culture.

Four, since immigrants tend to need government aid more, they are more likely to help vote in a government whom promises money for nothing.

Five, most being economical migrants, are willing to work for less than the average US citizen (since it is still way more than what they would have been making at home).

Six, population growth is needed so maintain economic growth.

Seven, with birth rates collapsing and an aging population, they need replacement workers.

Eight, by keeping wages down, big corporations keep their profit margins (or increase them).

Nine, by keeping housing market so tight, less and less people can afford to buy – so renting (earning landlords money) is going up, and you will own nothing and be happy.

      etc.
