I am sure most everyone has seen this. This is not all that surprising for someone to just admit guilt and take a slap on the wrist. I mean consider the alternative. You would have to fight the DOJ who has unlimited resources and if they win they bury you essentially just like they did many with J6. Why would you risk that, become bankrupt instead of just admitting it and probably getting some large book deal later.
So I understand this. But when people do this, they save themselves however they doom everyone else including their own children later in life.
I have mentioned before the only way we get out of this near tyranny is to personally sacrifice. Everyone needs to work for the good of each other instead of the good of themselves. Our country and society was built on this and without it will cease to be.
As you stated, when a person is being convicted by an entity with unlimited resources, most people don’t have the resources to fight back and protect their innocence – they are forced (blackmailed) into taking a plea deal.
Trump has the resources to fight back, and protect his innocence against the corrupt political witch hunt.
Why do you think so many “prosecutors” refused to take up certain cases? Because the deep state/uni-party (whatever term you wish to use for the establishment) will make sure you never work again. aka clintoned.
So I think the pressure from them and their bar association got to those former Trump lawyers, as they did with other defendants.
The justice system is very corrupt IMO. Justice is not blind and does serve/protect certain peoples and groups.

I find it massively ironic this is actually THE problem with the justice system that many Democrats and such complain about. They call it racism but it’s really classism. And they will point it out all day, run for office on that issue, and beat the drums of war over it, until it works in their favor then it’s OK.

The thing is this lady and the others that caved were on the team but as I understand it but they were in the peripheral only and were not major players. So they worked their jobs but were not down for the cause necessarily. I think that is why they were targeted. It makes it easy to get them to fold. And then after many have, they will use the “where there is smoke their is fire” argument against Trump.

Agreed 100%.
The morons cheering for this will soon find out that the government boot they want to be on the neck of others will end up on theirs as well. And at that point, freedom only returns after it is fought for.
