We often fixate on twitter, CNN, and The View, the “plebian” arenas of discourse.
We aren’t generally privy to what the movers and shakers of the world are thinking, or their strategies for the future. A great deal of what we believe to be organic changes in culture are at the behest of those who have their fingers on the scales, checkbook in their pocket, and fingers on the algorythm.

People with money on that level typically only care about money on that level. Not all, but many. Some people have other concerns either good (Elon Musk) or evil (Bill Gates).
People with money and power warming up to Trump is a sign. That being they are willing to “swap sides” because they are predicting he will be in power so they are aligning with him instead of fighting him for their own benefit. I see this happening on a number of levels. But it’s due primarily to be on the “correct team” while that team is in power. It could also be a sign they believe that “team” will be in power for some time.
