Are the forums being renovated?

Dear god I hope so. These forums have been bad for over a year tbh. There have been times the forums wont load at all. Most of the time it takes 30 seconds to load. Half the time when you post something, there is a server error and you have to go back and try again (which is why I ended up coping everything before I post) . I would post more if it weren’t for those things. It’s a bit ridiculous. I frankly have found it perplexing that it was allowed to go on this long. And worse, is that there has been no communication to us about it, which is a big fail imo. It’s not that hard to keep us informed on site problems, updates, etc. It takes 1 min to say something.

UPDATE: Yep, just got the host error and will now try to repost. Really freakin’ tired of this.

Hey guys, I know there has been some talk about upgrades previously and a possible rethinking of what could the forums be.  That’s all I know on that part.

As far as things being slow and error prone, I get that too, I fight it myself daily.  But I assume the forums are not a profit generator and probably is somewhat a lower priority than things that make the business run.  So it would tend to make business sense to me they get less love.

However, let me see if I can get an update.
