Cast Member Assaulted at EPCOT
Another day, another report of violence at Disney World. This time, the incident happened at EPCOT, specifically outside the Space 220 restaurant. It appears one of two intoxicated, shirtless men attacked a cast member. Two videos were posted on TikTok by user Alexis.Ringel, and while neither shows the assault, they show the men continuing to act belligerently until they are ultimately handcuffed by security guards, presumably so they can be handed over to the police. WDW News Today says that they’ve been told by an eyewitness that the security guards tased one of the men, but he “continued to fight.” You can see the videos below:

From what WDW News Today says, it seems like the men were drunk, they were asked to leave (probably because they were drunk and making trouble), and one of them hit the cast member. The TikTok user says the one holding the metal pole pulled it out of the ground, and from the sound of it, the security guards had their work cut out for them trying to subdue these two. It’s a safe bet they were arrested afterwards, despite their little fan club seemingly arguing in their defense. Incidents like these are more worrying than the ones about familial disputes because anyone can get caught up in the violence when it’s just two drunk guys causing trouble. Thankfully, there were no kids around, but the cast member who got hit shouldn’t have to deal with this, either. Once again, don’t let the disarming nature of your surroundings cause you to stop looking out for danger – it’s unfortunate but necessary.
