Colin Kaepernick Trashed in Uncovered Jon Gruden Emails

The Failed QB Also Has a Netflix Series Premiering This Month

More emails that resulted in the firing of Jon Gruden have surfaced in the wake of the investigation by the U.S. District Court into Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder. Previously roped into the mix was the ESPN reporter who broke the story that Gruden would be leaving the Raiders organization for a second time, Adam Schefter.

According to one of the leaked emails obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Bruce Allen, the president of what was then the Washington Redskins was on the receiving end of a message from Schefter regarding a story he was going to run. “Please let me know if you see anything that should be added, changed, tweaked,” Schefter wrote to Allen. “Thanks, Mr. Editor, for that and the trust. Plan to file this to espn about 6am,” Schefter concluded. They went back and forth a bit longer, but ultimately, what’s to be gained from this is that Schefter gets his insider information because he allows certain parties access to his stories.

Another unintended casualty of these leaks is the eternal victim Colin Kaepernick. Referencing the kneeling he caused circa 2018, Bruce Allen and conservative talk show host Mark Levin opined on the subject: “Remember 90% of NFL players have never considered kneeling. The 10% of the players and owners are the issue (see [Eagles owner] Jeff Lurie & 49ers owner [Denise DeBartolo]),” Allen wrote to Levin. “This is so ridiculous it’s embarrassing,” said the based Allen. As for Kaepernick, that exchange was had between Allen and Gruden.

“They suspend people for taking amino acids they should cut this fuck,” Gruden wrote to Allen. “I’ve expressed my OUTRAGE,” said Allen in response.

Colin Kapernick

Kaepernick, if you recall, began kneeling for the national anthem after he lost his starting job to Blaine Gabbert (lol) in 2016 for what he decided to deem a protest against police brutality and racial injustice. He was the most famous back-up in the history of the league for this, even though he hasn’t played a snap since a New Year’s Day game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2017. He fumbled an offer from the Baltimore Ravens because he couldn’t keep his girl in check. The NFL hosted a personal workout for him that was hilariously no-showed in 2019. But all that “suffering” paid off in the form of a huge, multi-million dollar Nike sponsorship deal, complete with hilarious, memeable advertisements. On top of all of that, this incredible waste of talent has inked a deal to produce a documentary series with ESPN and a first-look option from The Walt Disney Company, and he has a new Netflix series dropping on October 29th titled Colin in Black & White. If you can stomach this insanity, the trailer is below.

Allegedly, Kaepernick is training for a potential comeback. In an interview with Ebony, he still gets up at 5 A.M. and trains 5 or 6 days a week just in case a team is feeling sadistic enough to take on this burden. “I’m prepared to take a team to a Super Bowl again,” said Kaepernick, who is clearly suffering the effects of CTE. “That’s not something I will ever let go of, regardless of the actions of 32 teams and their partners to deny me employment. The same way I was persistent in high school is the same way I’m gonna be persistent here.” Nothing’s sadder than an old jock who just can’t seem to hang it up.
