Enes Kanter Dunks on CCP over Free Tibet Message

Can you believe it? A story about an NBA player that’s not a wokester? Crazy times.

Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter, an immigrant from Turkey, is taking a stand against the repressive and tyrannical regime of Joe Bi… Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party, specifically on the subjugation of Tibet.

“I’m here to add my voice and speak about what is happening in Tibet under the Chinese government’s brutal rule. Tibetan people’s basic rights are nonexistent,” Kanter said as a part of the 3-minute-long video he posted before tip-off on Wednesday.

Kanter, 29, has been banned from visiting his home country of Turkey due to his outspoken criticism of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, denouncing Xi Jinping as a “brutal dictator” – and Erdogan gets the same treatment – and targeting the Communist treatment of the Tibetan people, all while repping a sweet Dali Lama t-shirt.

The CCP had seized Tibet in 1951 after promising the region’s people the right to autonomy (now where have we heard that before…). But, the nature of the Chinese Communist Party being what it is, that was a promise not followed up on; in fact, they assimilated the local population via a cultural genocide of sorts.

If the video from Kanter weren’t enough, the sneakers he wore to the game in Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks in their respective season openers would have sealed the deal. Get a better artist next time; sick of that style…

Knowing how close China and the NBA are (Daryl Morey, then-general manager of the Houston Rockets, lost his job over a simple “Free Hong Kong” statement), there were obvious and immediate repercussions. Several anti-Kanter posts were being made by Chinese “influencers” denouncing his statements on the Weibo social media platform. As the Twitter-esque platform is constantly monitored by the CCP, they took the action of barring users from searching for “Kanter” on the site – for their safety and health or some shit like that.

Tencent, the same company that owns stakes in most entertainment companies in the Western world, has the NBA streaming platform for China. Originally, the Celtics/Knicks matchup was carried, but 45 minutes later, the game disappeared from the platform. Wonder why? To think, some morons simp for this type of tyrannical retardation.

Enes Kanter, a Turkish NBA player, showcased his bravery by standing up against the Chinese Communist Party’s oppression of Tibet. Kanter wore shoes with the message “Free Tibet” during a game, highlighting the issue and sending a powerful message. Kanter “dunked” on the CCP with his bold move, proving that athletes can use their platform to promote social justice. Dunks aren’t just good basketball moves; they can also represent standing up for what’s right.
