Disney has been hit with another disaster. Roughly an hour before this writing, reports of a fire at Epcot, one of the four parks that make up Disney World in Orlando, Florida, circulated on social media, with several X accounts posting videos of the incident. The fire was located in the French Pavilion, the section of Epcot’s World Showcase modeled after France. The World Showcase is an area of Epcot that celebrates various countries and their cultures, including food, drink, architecture, and recreations of historical landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. The fire coincides with spring break, which brings increased tourism to Disney World, as well as Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival, an annual celebration of the beginning of spring and the park’s floral attractions that runs from, March 5 to June 2 this year. According to Fox 35 Orlando, the fire started “sometime this afternoon,” although they don’t know the exact time, and occurred backstage at the French Pavillion, where a walk-in cooler caught on fire. Disney World officials who spoke to Fox say the fire department “quickly extinguished” the blaze and no one was hurt, though it did create a large, black plume of smoke that could be seen rising above the park.
You can see the Epcot fire yourself in videos taken by Disney World guests that are currently making their way across the internet. The first is from Disney Food Blog and was taken from The BoardWalk. You can see the black smoke wafting in the air even from this far away:

The next video comes from WSVN 7, a local news station in Orlando. This one was taken from one of the gondola cabins that make up the Disney Skyliner, a transportation system that takes guests through Disney World. In this video, you can see parkgoers being evacuated from the French Pavilion and, at the end, a shot of the fire burning not far from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a ride that takes you through a French kitchen inspired by the Pixar film Ratatouille. It looks like the roof of the building is aflame, so the fire must have spread from the walk-in cooler where it began:

Finally, an X user named Ryan (not Kinel, although you can follow him at RK Outpost) captures some video of the fire. Ryan’s video was also filmed from a gondola on the Disney Skyliner, although this one is traveling in the opposite direction of the one from WSVN 7. Again, you can see the guests being evacuated from the French Pavilion and the fire burning just beyond Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. You can also see an ambulance on the grounds, though it sounds like it wasn’t needed, thankfully:

That had to be frightening for Disney World guests. The freakiest part of those videos is that you can hear the guests on the gondolas having casual conversations about their Disney experience, with the sudden realization of the fire bringing their joy to a quick halt. The Epcot fire is the latest dangerous incident at Disney Parks, following a fight that broke out at the Magic Kingdom last summer in which guests thought they heard gunshots (which turned out to be popped balloons, but the fight was real) and a car accident at Animal Kingdom that shut down tram service. But the reality is that these situations are probably few and far between, and they’re not even necessarily anyone’s fault. The walk-in freezer could simply have been faulty, with the fire not occurring because of negligence or human error. Regardless, I’m sure there will be an investigation by the fire department, and once again, it’s a relief that nobody was hurt.

They’re lucky it happened in Florida instead of California; at least their fire department has water.
Reminds me on California being on fire earlier or Maui. Leave it to some wacko who would say something like it’s fire and brimstone from on high and that it’s a sign from above that corrupt locations are burning. Let’s face it, even before Rachel Zegler made an abomination of Snow White, this company was already burning money.
With multiple awful movies and terrible streaming shows, and now, hell fire incinerating the park locations, how long before Disney goes under. It would be something in Snow White was the beginning and end of this once great company. Maybe a little Shyster Lightening out the door to get some insurance money, but nothing can safe a company that has been hollowed out by termites and left to collapse.
It’s not that Disney sold it’s soul, but the occupier bankster class sold it’s soul off bit by bit until it was gone and then, some other shyster will dramatically ask what happened to America’s soul? As if they don’t already know how they used it up just like some poor trafficked kid.
