After more than a year, Universal Orlando Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Sea World/Busch Gardens Orlando, and other Florida theme parks have finally announced that face masks are no longer mandatory when outdoors at the theme parks. The announcements came shortly after CDC guidelines were updated last week.
Keep in mind, however, that masks will still have to be worn when indoors at restaurants, in the line queues, and on rides. So don’t leave them at home! Exciting news, especially as the summer starts to heat up. Taking masks off outside is going to be a huge relief for so many people. Hopefully, this will help bring more demand to the parks so they can start really recouping their losses.
