John Boyega Calls Star Wars Fans Racist

At this point, Star Wars fans are used to being called every name in the book and blamed for disliking the trash heap Disney and Lucasfilm have turned the franchise into. But every so often, yet another person involved in the space opera that refuses to go away takes another dig, and it’s amazing to see they’ve learned nothing in the past decade. This time, it’s John Boyega, who played Finn in the sequel trilogy. In the first of a two-part documentary called Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Men in Hollywood (part 2 is subtitled Black Leading Women in Hollywood), Boyega is asked about Star Wars fans, and he accuses them of being racists who don’t want to see a black person in a leading role. In fact, he calls the entire franchise a white elitist enterprise. You can see his quotes here, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly (which is more eager than a hungry puppy eyeing a steak to agree with Boyega):

“Lemme tell ya, Star Wars always had the vibe of being in the most whitest, elite space… It’s a franchise that’s so white that a [b]lack person existing in [it] was something… You can always tell it’s something when some Star Wars fans try to say, ‘Well, we had Lando Calrissian and had Samuel L. Jackson!… It’s like telling me how many cookie chips are in the cookie dough. It’s like, they just scattered that in there, bro!… They’re okay with us playing the best friend, but once we touch their heroes, once we lead, once we trailblaze, it’s like, ‘Oh my God, it’s just a bit too much! They’re pandering!’”

I’m not interested in defending Star Wars fans against John Boyega, and I would encourage you not to, either; we’re all well past the point of owing him or anyone else an explanation or a rebuttal, and frankly, it’s beneath us to do it anymore. I’d rather talk about the lunacy of someone with an attitude like this thinking he deserves the business of the people he’s calling racists. This is the quicksand Hollywood has largely found itself in, and Disney and Lucasfilm are perhaps the most glaring examples. You can’t keep insulting your fanbase and expect them to keep paying for your product. I remember a few years ago, Jesse Kelly drew the analogy of a restaurant that has great food, but the staff treats you like garbage and insults you every time you go; eventually, the food simply won’t be good enough to endure the abuse. This is the same thing, only the food sucks, too. If you keep calling the people whose business you need racists, they’re not going to give you their business anymore, and it’ll be nobody’s fault but your own.

And it’s not just down to studios anymore; this is the star of the movies saying that fans of the series didn’t like it because he’s black, and they don’t like black people, and the series has always been exclusive to white people anyway. Does he think this is going to help his career? John Boyega is not exactly a superstar, and I don’t think people will be more inclined to see movies he’s in if he behaves this way. This is what I and many others have been talking about when we say that overexposure – particularly on social media – is part of what killed the movie star. They’re such a bunch of preening, scolding, self-righteous lecturers that whenever a chance to insult the little people comes along, they can’t help themselves, and unsurprisingly to everyone but them, people got tired of it. That’s a big part of why nobody goes to see Chris Evans in movies where he isn’t playing Captain America; he likes to tell anyone who disagrees with him that he wants them to “die out like dinosaurs.” Jennifer Lawrence made an asshole of herself one time too many, and now, the actress Hollywood and the media were desperately trying to make the next Meryl Streep (yeah, right) can’t open a movie anymore, even one that’s pretty good. The old studio system gets criticized a lot, but when the studio heads held that much power, they understood that people had to like movie stars, so they kept a lid on the pretty people. The result was the equivalent of an American royalty that people would tune into the Oscars just to see. They would never have let someone mouth off about the audience the way John Boyega just did, or Chris Evans does regularly. And their movies made money – of course, a lot of them were also good.

Let us know what you think of John Boyega calling Star Wars and its fans racists in the comments!

He failed because he does not like white people. That’s actually a main issue now and the reason he is melting down is because, looking back, he was the original Rachel Zegler. He never liked fans or Star Wars in the first place, but just wanted to call everyone racist and play the race card and race swap and laugh in your face and tell you to deal with it, whether he could act or not didn’t matter and his attitude sucked from the very first day.

Like Rachel Zegler, I don’t recall him ever saying that he was a fan of Star Wars or that he even liked Star Wars, but he just showed up laughing in people’s faces and taunting them with racial accusations before any were even made.

He may have been worse than Rachel Zegler, so by the time Zegler came along, fans have already had the Boyega experience and the Ncuti Gatwa Doctor Who experience. One thing I agree with Chris Gore about is that the lady Halle Berry who played Little Mermaid, at least she was an actual classy person unlike Boyega and Zegler and Gatwa.

There’s no point in liking Boyega or Samuel L. Jackson because not only do they not like you, but they want you to die out and openly say so. That is their normal attitude that people refuse to accept that, if you disagree with types like Boyega or SLJ over any detail in history, they will call for your entire people to be wiped out. No one has ever addressed this attitude of onslaught. Instead, unfortunately, westerners are betrayed by academia and Big Religion to extend great treatment to people who have overtly said they want genocide of the west.

There is no point in defending when they have already made up their minds permanently that you are racist and they think you must grovel at all times. This is also why AI is gonna bury Hollywood is that the Hollywood of today is filled with people who don’t like the public. Actors in Hollywood today just do not like people and, naturally, the public is moving on to something else that will be a feel good experience because Hollywood has become racial Agitation Propaganda and lost all connection to the ability to entertain.

To support Hollywood now would be worse than even Stockholm Syndrome. I think prison guards treat people better than Hollywood treats movie goers.

Is Boyega just a puppet mouth for Iger?
JJ Abrams said all the very same things that Boyega and Zegler did.

Truth is, They all reject white heroes, white spaces and white faces and, inside of Iger, Abrams and Boyega, is a very deep hatred of white people and no one wants to talk about that. People are so used to being on the defensive about race that they don’t realize that they are just being run over now and passed over and replaced.

I’m at the point where they can do what they want, but that company is dead to me and it pleases me to see the public dumping Disney. The only problem with that is, Iger and Abrams may have just set out to destroy the brand to destroy the culture that America once had to replace it with disturbing weirdos and perverts and swap everything, creating a lot of mass confusion and mass psychosis, but again, they aren’t Americans, but dual citizens and foreigners. America used to be a place of such joy and togetherness and really, that is what Ari Emanuel and Larry Fink are targeting. It’s that sentiment that once was America and the USA.
