Actress Karen Gillan recently discussed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with Marvel.com, as well as saying goodbye to her character Nebula and Thor: Love and Thunder, in which she also appears. James Gunn has said that Vol. 3 will be the final outing for this particular group of Guardians and will center on their search for Gamora. Check out Gillan’s comments here:
“It (filming Guardians 3) was such an amazing experience. I loved working on that movie so much, I’m about to burst. I loved it, it was so good. I just loved where the character went, I loved working with James again — I’m so glad that he was back with us — it was like the family got reunited.”
I think we’ve taken it to a whole new level this time. And you know, there might be, maybe, a feeling of closing out a chapter of sorts, so it’s a little bittersweet, in a sense. But I think everybody has upped it for this one.”
I am very excited about this movie, but I can’t help being a little nervous too. Guardians of the Galaxy is probably my favorite remaining MCU series with Chris Evans’ Captain America out of the equation. As such, I’m afraid one of my favorite characters will die, given the nature of coverage surrounding the movie. It’s great to hear the actors are having such a good time, and I can’t wait to see Guardians Vol. 3; I just hope they don’t stomp on my heart too much after ripping it out.
Karen Gillan is a very beautiful woman, so much that even her in the Nebula makeup is strangely hot imo lol
I really hope Guardians 3 is somehow great and woke-free but sadly that probably won’t be the case. thanks for the interview clip!
