Marvel’s craftiest trickster has finally revealed himself. A couple of photos from the set of Loki season 2 have surfaced, showing Tom Hiddleston as the titular God of Mischief. Hiddleston is wearing a tuxedo and surrounded by vintage cars, indicating he’s once more traveling through time, whether in the main timeline or something else. These pictures follow a set photo from yesterday shared by Twitter user More Butter featuring a movie poster for Zaniac, starring Brad Wolfe.
An exclusive photo from the set of LOKI Season 2 reveals that Zaniac will make an appearance on the show!
In the comics, the character of Brad Wolfe was an actor possessed by Zaniac, an entity that controlled various hosts, overwhelming them with a bloodlust to kill. pic.twitter.com/8fPE6rUTM6

This is, apparently, a reference to a storyline from the comics wherein an actor named Brad Wolfe portrayed Zaniac in a movie before being possessed by the real Zaniac, which Screen Rant describes as “a mysterious entity that overwhelms him and its other hosts with a bloodlust for beautiful women.” Whether this is a clue to the plot and villain of Loki’s second season or a simple Easter egg is unclear, though I’d guess it’s the latter, as Kang the Conqueror was suggested as the villain (again) at the end of season 1. But who knows? Loki makes so little sense that they might as well throw in everything but the kitchen sink.
What do you think of these Loki images? Are you looking forward to season 2? How will Loki overcome Kang’s next set of interpretive dance moves? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to Geeks + Gamers for more Marvel boob tube shenanigans!
