Lucasfilm Drops New Ahsoka Character Posters
In anticipation of the upcoming Ahsoka series, Disney and Lucasfilm dropped six new character posters today. The images display Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno), and Baylon Skoll (Ray Stevenson, RIP). Where are Ezra and Thrawn at? The search for these essential characters is the impetus for the entire show! Ahsoka is vital, but they could have rotated at least Morgan out for our missing guys. They’re also continuing to hype up Sabine holding Ezra’s lightsaber. As I’ve said before, this isn’t inherently a problem, but I think how they handle it will be. Sabine has trained with blades, and Ezra left his with her at the end of Rebels. I have issues with Sabine being Force-sensitive, though, which is precisely the impression they’re (intentionally) creating. I really don’t like that, and it doesn’t bode well for the show.
