Lucasfilm Says Lando is Now a Movie

Stephen Glover (brother of Donald) recently appeared on the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast and said Lando is now being developed as a movie rather than a series. Lucasfilm has since confirmed the news. Lando follows Donald Glover’s interpretation of Lando Calrissian after the events of the film Solo. This all comes in the wake of Disney unceremoniously dumping Justin Simien as showrunner and replacing him with the Glovers. “It’s not even a show… the idea right now is to do a movie. Right now, because of the strike its kinds of like telephone all of the information.”

Honestly, I don’t care if it’s a movie or a series. I didn’t care for Solo and haven’t been interested in the Young Lando Adventures. Glover was better in the role than Alden Ehrenreich was as Han, but I don’t see why he needs his own show or film. I’ll be surprised if this ever gets completed and released.
