Netflix Says Yes to More Wednesday
Deadline reports that Netflix has renewed the comedy-mystery series Wednesday for a second season. Tim Burton’s Addams Family spin-off pulled in record viewings in 2022, with Jenna Ortega’s dance scene going viral.
I watched about half of Wednesday, and while I didn’t love it, I see why people like it. The audience it drew more than justifies a renewal; going strictly by numbers, it demands it. I don’t feel that strongly about this, but I’m happy for the show’s fans.
