A new image of Rachel Zegler’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs remake, titled Snow White, was released today. The photo accompanied news of the film’s release being pushed back from March 22, 2024, to March 21, 2025. Check out the new pic below:
I don’t care about the film being delayed; it’ll be just as bad in two years as it would have been next year. I hate to be predictable and go with the flow, but I’m about as tired of Zegler’s antics and comments as the rest of the Internet. I have no problems with her acting or singing in West Side Story, which is the only thing I’ve seen her in. But her real-world grandstanding and moralizing have alienated me, and I’m sorry to see her cast in major movies like the Hunger Games prequel and, most especially, Snow White. I actually defended her against racism regarding her casting for this role, but now I really don’t want to see it. The controversy surrounding the original movie’s romantic storyline and the depiction of dwarfs have me exhausted. They’re fantasy dwarfs, a fictional race. They’re not meant to represent real little people or say anything negative about any real group. Speaking of that, Disney came out and said they would be replacing the Dwarfs with magical creatures. What happened to that? This whole movie is a joke. I fully expect Gal Gadot to be the only good thing about it. After this year’s Barbie, attaching Greta Gerwig as a writer doesn’t give me any hope.
But what do you think about the photo, the movie, or anything else? Let us know in the comments!
