Star Wars: Eclipse Will be Set in High Republic Period
Remember Quantic Dream’s Star Wars video game, Eclipse? After the release of a stunning cinema-quality trailer, it was revealed that the game had no set release date. Finally, QD changed strategies on Eclipse, going for a more action-oriented approach. Now, we’re learning that Eclipse will take place during the High Republic era in the Star Wars galaxy. A recent leak showed some story and character details, but the biggest surprise is that Quantic Dream leaked it on purpose!
I wish I knew more about Star Wars games, but I’m not much of a gamer, I’m afraid. As for the High Republic era, I haven’t read it, so I don’t feel strongly. The trailer for Eclipse looked incredible, but I try not to put too much stock in trailers. Remember, they’re showing you the highlights to reel you into something that could be quite different in total.
