Streamer Destiny Suspended on Kick and Likely Demonetized on X for Mocking Murdered Firefighter

Ever heard of a streamer called Destiny? Me neither, but apparently, he’s a sicko. Following the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump on Saturday, Destiny – whose real name is Steven Kenneth Bonnell II – posted some disgusting things on X disparaging Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who was killed in the attack as he shielded his wife and daughter from the gunfire. He also referred to Ashley Babbitt, the woman who was killed in the Capitol on January 6, 2021. A YouTuber named Dom Lucre shared screenshots of Destiny’s posts and asked Elon Musk if they violated X’s standards for “hate or extremist content or sensitive content” and should be suspended from getting ad revenue on the platform. Musk agreed, indicating that Destiny will be demonetized soon if he hasn’t been already.

Destiny took umbrage with that (screenshot courtesy of That Park Place):

Destiny now says he was suspended from the streaming platform Kick for hate speech, as well as that he will “never apologize for the way [he] treats conservatives” (screenshot again courtesy of That Park Place):

He doesn’t specify what he said that got him banned from Kick – at least not in this post, and I’m not sifting through this animal’s videos – but a few other choice quotes from him, courtesy of Nina Infinity and Ian Miles Cheong, are probably a good indication:

The second one is apparently from a few years ago, but it gives a good indication of his general mindset. If you want some more insight into this nut, here’s a clip from a great video ENDYMION made:

This is clearly a disturbed man. The scary part is, I don’t think he’s alone; too many people have this attitude, as an ill-advised social media rabbit hole dive will make clear. We’ve even seen celebrities show a heinously ugly side of themselves in the last few days, though I don’t think any of it has reached even this level of evil. (At the very least, Mark Hamill and Tenacious D stopped short of mocking Corey Comperatore.) As for his demonetization and his claims that Elon Musk is violating his ethics in doing it, I think there’s a difference between allowing Destiny to speak (which Musk is still doing) and allowing him to make money on your platform by saying an innocent bystander who was murdered while protecting his family deserve to die.

It’s a dangerous world right now, friends; let’s all watch our backs, and each other’s.

I never listened to him even once. Clear greasy, oily privilege. Very clear. You know, some guys who make threats get thrown and jail and never let out. Just from threats.
Bums me out that both Lauren Southern and Alex Jones tried to promote this lunatic.
