Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Will Be Free On Prime Day

If you’re morbidly curious about playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the game that kicked off the Sweet Baby Inc. and DEI backlash – and Gamergate 2, all according to its secret mastermind’s plan – and cost Warner Bros. a reported $200 million, now’s the time. According to IGN, the game will be available for free through Amazon Prime on Tuesday, July 16, and Wednesday, July 17, as part of Prime Day. This is a digital download, not a hard copy, so you won’t get a disc in the mail or anything, but you’ll be able to play the game for exactly what most seem to think it’s worth for as long as you want – which, historically, isn’t very long. Also available for free will be Chivalry 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Why is this significant? Because Chivalry 2 was released in 2021, and Rise of the Tomb Raider is from 2015. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, however, is a little over five months old, and it’s already being offered for free. If there were any lingering doubts that this game is a complete failure – perhaps the $200 million hit Warner Bros. took wasn’t convincing enough – this should be the end of them. As for why they’re even bothering to give it away, I think Yellowflash is correct: they’re hoping to bump up the number of online players to save a little face after being humiliated. They may as well; it’s not like anyone is buying it anymore. This can’t be good for Sweet Baby Inc. either; the consulting firm is already a laughing stock that game developers recognize as a liability to their profits, and seeing their big 2024 release being given away for free less than six months after its release only reinforces that image. If this industry knows what’s good for it, it’ll drop this woke nonsense and make good games again.
