TEASER: Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender
Yesterday, Netflix released the first trailer for their live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation. An official release date of February 22, 2024, was also announced in the trailer. Check out the trailer here:
I don’t have any particular complaints with the Avatar: The Last Airbender teaser on a visual or story level. It looks good. I still don’t think a live-action Avatar is a good idea, but the casting and effects look great here. I was never excited for this show, but once the original creators of the animated series dropped out, I really got worried. Of course, I’ll reserve final judgement until I see it. But I have zero expectations for this one to be good.
