The Last of Us Episode 5 to be Released Early

For the first time in the maiden season of HBO’s The Last of Us, a chapter of the story has been broken into two parts. The second half of the contained story featured in episode 4 will be concluded in episode 5. Possibly due to this two-part nature, but officially and more likely due to the Super Bowl this Sunday, part 2 will be released early. As announced by HBO, episode 5 of The Last of Us will be released this Friday, February 10^th, at 9:00 PM EST, rather than Sunday, the 12^th. While this is a somewhat unorthodox decision, there was no better place for it to land in this season thus far than episode 5. The quality of episode 4 was substantially better than its predecessor, and it ended on a cliffhanger, making it ripe for an early release for the follow-up to satiate fan excitement as much as to avoid the Super Bowl.
