The Lord of the Rings on Prime Releases First Image of Valinor

The Lord of the Rings on Prime released an image from the upcoming Amazon Prime fantasy series based on the works of J.R.R Tolkien.

The image shows a figure standing in the foreground of a beautiful setting in the Elven homeland of Valinor, with the two trees, Laurelin and Telperion, in the background.

Details of the series are that it is set in the second age of Middle Earth, covering many different landscapes in Tolkien’s world. Having Lord of the Rings on Prime release an image of the Elf homeland of Valinor could mean an introduction to the series like we saw in Peter Jackson’s Lord of The Rings trilogy.

Jackson’s trilogy opened with a prologue in the second age, setting the scene for the creation of the rings of power and the battle of the last alliance between elves and men against Sauron.

This image from Lord of the Rings on Prime means we could see a prologue or episode during the time of the trees in Valinor, set in the first age of Middle Earth an intriguing thought to ponder.

The series will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 2, 2022.

It’s just an image, but it looks good. Looks like art. I really like how they do the landscapes in the digital art world these days.

Very nice. Fantasy shots like that are so amazing. There is so much going on in this image. Hopefully (but probably not), the story will be just as interesting.
