Another day, another cancellation! This time it is English author Charles Dickens, and for probably one of the dumbest reasons so far! Dickens is most famous for his works such as David Copperfield, A Tale Of Two Cities, Great Expectations, Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, and many more! Click here for the full list.
The Dickens Museum in London recently joined TikTok and was immediately censored.
We need your help! 🙏
We've launched a #tiktok, but #Dickens is blocked! #CharlesDickens is unsearchable because he has a rude word in his name.
We're asking you wonderful followers to share our tweets, along with #FreeDickens to show @tiktok_uk that Dickens matters! 🥳 pic.twitter.com/IIegX73W3r

Dickens’ last name is now considered “vulgar” and was subsequently shadow-banned and censored on social media. Yes, you heard that correctly. An author from the 1800s has “a rude word in his name.” We have regressed backwards. Shield the internet people from the word “Dickens!” Avert your eyes!
The hashtag “Free Dickens” was trending, and eventually, the overlords fixed some of their errors. However, you cannot search “Dickens.” A historical name is unsearchable on social media. Let that sink in!
We're delighted to say that you can now follow us on TikTok!
Thanks to everyone who took part in our #FreeDickens movement, and to @tiktok_uk!
You can't search #Dickens, but you can search #CharlesDickens and our handle which is @charlesdickensmuseum

Who do you think will be next on the cancel culture express?
That is certifiably insane. Almost up there with “amen and awomen”. Orwell’s newspeak isn’t as laughably absurd as these weirdos.
