Geeks + Gamers › Forums › Entertainment › Movies › A Brief Review – Hall Pass (2011)
Just ran across this one by accident today. It’s chocked full of typically very funny people and it seemed like the silly humor I would enjoy. I noticed too late Joy Behar (The View) was in it as that was an omen.
In essence it’s about multiple middle-aged couples who have been married for some time and the “saintly” wives are tired of their idiot husbands being obsessed by sex. So to help their marriages they give the husbands a week long “hall pass”. A week to do whatever or whomever they wanted.
I made it about halfway through where the men were portrayed as bumbling idiots who despite many attempts could not even get a woman to say 2 words to them. The contrast to this was their wives whom had men throwing themselves at them.
I am sure you see where this continues to go and I did as well and I stopped watching. Garbage feminist film which is a shame because the setup and the cast had a lot of potential.
Remember what I said about movies past 2010. This is 2011. I should not be shocked.
