Most of the entertainment Netflix makes themselves (in my opinion) is terrible. But once in awhile they make something truly inspiring. That is the case with “Wish Dragon”. This is a very unique story that is quite light hearted, entertaining and actually has a good moral to the story like movies used to. I enjoy watching this movie every now and then because it is quite fun and makes you smile.
There is also some interesting mixing here of cultures as it was written by an American but appears to be a Chinese story as I think the story is based in China and the actors are of Chinese descent. China must of funded this as well to some degree as Tencent was involved and the movie was released in China in Mandarin before it was released on Netflix.
All of that aside as it does not matter at this point but it’s a good movie. Watch it.
