@Mustangride1, try going in incognito mode, sometimes it lets you do the “unsafe operations”, if still doesn’t work try different browsers

My opinion from running forums is this site has way to many “anti-spam and bot” protocals when live moderators would be a better solutions allowing for live members to post without many of the problems that’s just a guess though.

I have noticed that I can’t just read the current threads without logging in. There appear to be THREE seperate states the forums appear in. I am using Firefox, if that is the issue.
State #1: Logged in
Everything appears, more or less, up to date, excluding posts that are in moderation (I guess)
State #2: Not logged in
Forum posts in Most Recent Topics do not show the same threads that appear as though you are logged in.
State #3 is releated to State #2:
When not logged in, you will see a thread title that says, for example 3 posts are included. But if you click on that link, you will open a thread with just one or two posts. The posts will not match the count listed, even when in the non-logged in state.
It would be ideal to be able to see all posts, all the time, regardless of whether I am logged in or not.

Why log out?
Being serious, When I leave the site I simply close the window. No one else using my Pc or Cell so no worries. When I do come to the site its through the (Topic) which shows me every new post first.https://www.geeksandgamers.com/topics/
Now If someone else uses your PC / Cell I get it. But otherwise no reason to log out imo.

Why log out? Because I like to check the site at work.
And using this site on my phone FUCKING SUCKS.
They can’t fix this shit if they don’t know what’s broken. Problem Solving is the crux of what I do for a living.
June 5, 2021 at 10:09 am #227378When users are logged out, they are viewing a cached version of the website. For this reason, recently posted topics and replies do not always appear. This is done to help lower website load times for guests.
We do appreciate the feedback. If this particular feature continues to be an issue for other users, we will make the appropriate changes.
