Sci-Fi writers have long written about the dangers of robots/AI.

And AI technology is growing exponentially.

Plus people forget not long ago trans-humanism was being pushed HARD…

A human “mind” in a robot/computer, with the speed/processing abilities of a computer.

    Let me ask this question:

What if the two technologies merged?

An AI program but with the biases of a human “mind”?

“An AI program but with the biases of a human “mind”?”

Already the case.  The chat AI stuff is hardcoded to be super leftist.

But this is an example of something I was trying to point out.  People are not unbiased, are often corrupt morally, and are prone to error and short sightedness.  People create AI and it will inherit those traits from humans.  Most humans are internally a walking mess working outwardly to conform to normality so they can function.  This is the human condition.  And I predict AI will be as unpredictable as humans for those same reasons.

Neuralink: Elon Musk’s brain chip firm wins US approval for human study

      Reuters
      By James FitzGerald
      BBC News

Elon Musk’s brain-chip firm says it has received approval from the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) to conduct its first tests on humans.
The Neuralink implant company wants to help restore vision and mobility to people by linking brains to computers.
It says it does not have immediate plans to start recruiting participants. Mr Musk’s previous ambitions to begin tests came to nothing.

The FDA said it acknowledged Neuralink’s announcement.

An earlier bid by Neuralink to win FDA approval was rejected on safety grounds, according to a report in March by the Reuters news agency that cited multiple current and former employees.

Another interesting segment from Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The main take away from this one IMO: “It’s the first tool in human history that can make decisions by itself and it’s the first tool in human history that can  create ideas by itself.” And that’s why those who try to dismiss it as being no different to revolutionary technologies of the past are mistaken. It’s not simply  a matter of it falling into the wrong hands, it’s one of an independent entity with an “alien way of thinking” shaping human society.

      Good video.

We were (and are still being) warned about this but arrogance and greed means humanity will have to learn its lesson the hard way.

Speaking of the A.I. – human consciousness link/programming methinks the “new programming” is now conspicuously asserting itself.

I went to collect a package at a local courier and interfaced with a clerk. And while the person was extremely efficient she was simultaneously very cold and dare I say artificial. Granted she could have been very busy or may just have been having one of those days, but this is just one of several similar recent experiences I’ve had.

I mean when you have people whose heads are perennially stuck in a net connected device they’re bound to lose/fail to develop social skills. That trancelike stare they give you is a dead giveaway.
