It’s all hypocrisy. The left beats a drum about a 2 tiered system and blames it on racism. That is a total lie just to create a boogeyman. The reality is there IS a 2 tiered system but it is based on class and party affiliation. As things sit now, a wealthy Democrat donor can get away with murder. Case in point.
The flip side is if you are someone who is not part of the protected class, not only will the goverment run you over but it will hunt you down. Something we have seen over and over.
This 2 tiered system is the first thing that needs to be solved to heal the country. I am not sure if it possible or not but I hope it is.
Judge approves settlement in ‘Rust’ lawsuit against Alec Baldwin
A settlement has been approved in the wrongful death suit filed by Matthew Hutchins and his son following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the film set of “Rust.”
Finally.
A judge issued an order approving the settlement for a minor, Hutchins’ son, on Thursday. All the parties have agreed to settle all claims against the defendants, according to court documents.
…
Hutchins’ 10-year-old son, Andros Hutchins, will receive his portion of the settlement in annuities that will be paid out over time when he reaches the ages of 18 and 22, according to court documents.
Other documents and materials related to the settlement have been sealed by the court.
Not much in the way of details.
The terms of the settlement have not been released publicly and were sealed by a judge in April.
Why?
The charges against Baldwin were dropped in April, at least in part because an investigation revealed the gun used in the incident was mechanically improper.
Investigators effectively conducted an autopsy of the Colt .45 revolver and found that there were worn joints and that the trigger control was not functioning properly
This is the first time I have heard anything about the gun itself, then it does prove:
…numerous violations of industry standards by Baldwin and others charged with safety on the set of “Rust,” lawyers for the family said last year.
So I am guessing the sealing of this case is because it would reveal publicly how BAD and erroneous those violations are, and that the production could be sanctioned by Hollywood/industry.
I knew from day 1 nothing would be levied against him legally because he is a part of the right groups and donates to the people currently in power. He could have handed out flyers advertising he would eat a baby live on stage a week in advance and livestreamed it and nothing would have happened.
Well, maybe not him directly, but it does sound like his production company DID get hit as part of the settlement… but how much and whom ALL has to pay has been SEALED…. to protect him?
I am certain that is the case. Those groups always circle the wagons around any part of the group who is exposed because they all have dirt on each other. So one going down could take a large swath of the whole thing down.
I think the thing they genuinely fear most is what challenges the only thing they care about and that is power. If one of their own goes down and that leads to exposing others and then they expose others I can see a VERY fast chain effect going off where if the public in general all of a sudden sees the corruption to the core laid so bare they cannot deny it, then in very short time there would be some sort of revolution as the public would unify and overthrow the systems in place.
This is why division in every way possible is always the goal. And why people like the Clintons are untouchable.
‘Rust’ Weapons Supervisor Charged With Dumping Drugs On Day Of Alec Baldwin Shooting
The weapons supervisor charged with involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a cinematographer on the New Mexico set of the Alex Baldwin film “Rust” was charged Thursday with evidence tampering for allegedly passing drugs to someone else on the day of the shooting.
After all this time?
(Hannah) Gutierrez-Reed’s attorney Jason Bowles called the move “retaliatory and vindictive.”
“It is shocking that after 20 months of investigation, the special prosecutor now throws in a completely new charge against Ms. Gutierrez Reed, with no prior notice or any witness statements, lab reports, or evidence to support it,” Bowles said in a statement.
A person died, and no one has been charged related to the death, and it looked like no one was gonna be.
The new charge comes a week after prosecutors alleged in a court filing that Gutierrez-Reed was drinking and smoking marijuana in the evenings during the filming of “Rust” and was likely hungover on the day a live bullet was placed into the gun Baldwin used.
What else?
(Bowles) said it suggests that the prosecution has been withholding evidence from the defense.
Almost as if they want a mistrial, or a dismissal of the case outright.
Rust armourer sentenced to 18 months over fatal on-set shooting by Alec Baldwin
Gutierrez-Reed found guilty in March of involuntary manslaughter for mistakenly loading live round into gun.
And what was her sentencing?
A movie weapons supervisor was sentenced to 18 months in prison over the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by Alec Baldwin on the set of the western film Rust. The sentence was delivered at a Monday hearing in a New Mexico state court.
What of all the others?
Rust assistant director and safety co-ordinator Dave Halls pleaded no contest to negligent handling of a firearm last year and completed a sentence of six months unsupervised probation.
Rust props master Sarah Zachry, who shared some responsibilities over firearms on the set of Rust, signed an agreement with prosecutors to avoid prosecution in return for her co-operation.
What of the person who had the gun when the bullet was shot?
Baldwin, the lead actor and co-producer for Rust, was pointing a gun at Hutchins when the revolver went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.
Baldwin has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in Hutchins’s death. He is scheduled for trial in July at a courthouse in Santa Fe.
Time will tell what happens with him and his trial.
