I liked early RWBY. It was clumsily done, but for whatever reasons, it still worked. It did enough right to make it worth watching, and the story had enough heart to make the characters worth rooting for.
Then, it went off the rails. Not all at once, but a bit here and more there, and by season 6 I was done with it.
Don’t know if this new anime version will fix much, if anything, but it does look nice. I’d be willing to give it a shot.
