I wonder if I should buy this
Yes!!! and then you could come to my island!!!
nice nice
My history with these game is perhaps not so different from some people. I will play it everyday for a month or so and then get bored and go day or weeks without playing it, and become hesitant to come back. The same happened playing this one as well. Not a bad game in any way, but other games and or life will take up my time.
I have to say I enjoy it more than I thought I would, it is the 1st AC game for me since the Gamecube one, which back then I imported from the US because a PAL release was yet to be announced, and by the time it was I was done with the game.
I played the original Animal Crossing on the Gamecube and then the sequel on the Wii. We bought New Horizons on launch day and have not regretted it one bit. I finally got my third room upgrade and working to pay that off so I can get my basement addition. I’ve got a nice collection of fruit trees on my island (all varieties are now growing) and I’ve spent numerous hours tweaking my island’s layout with the construction app. Nintendo did a wonderful job with this edition of the game.
Well, I finally got around to paying off the debt on my third room and now have the second floor on my house. Just need to pay that off so I can get my basement.
One aspect that I’m enjoying is the flower breeding. I really like setting out the various flowers and seeing what new flowers pop up.
I can’t wait for the July 3rd update to see the new items that they’re adding in to the game.
Who else is excited for the NEW update in August where you can go SWIMMING? I’ll be streaming it when it comes out!
The initial update on swimming will actually be this upcoming Friday. I haven’t heard what the August update will be.
Already caught all of the July debuting bugs. (Fyi, this is a really lucrative month to hunt bugs. The coconut tree beetles sell for a lot.) At 71/80 bugs, my museum’s insect exhibit is looking pretty respectable at this point.
Caught most of the July debuting fish. But is the Napoleon Fish being a butthole to anyone else?
I haven’t seen the Napoleon fish yet, but the blasted Great White was very elusive to me. I caught my first one when the sharks first showed up and turned it into the museum. Took me 2 weeks of almost daily fishing to catch another.
